The compact dimensions of the speaker optimize its use for touring and installations. With multiple threaded pole mounts and robust handles, it is the perfect solution for smaller concerts or on stage. Integrated guide rails on the top and sides connect the enclosures together to withstand movement due to vibrations and provide a clean look. The SB218 allows for building a ground stack with NTX speakers using the appropriate mounting frames (flybars) for precise directional radiation.
The massive grille of the SBX218 with large openings protects the bass drivers, withstands damage, and is acoustically transparent. The unusually large port, inspired by aircraft design, reduces unwanted turbulent airflow and hence port noise. EAW DynO extracts that last dB of performance from the system, which you will especially appreciate in more demanding conditions.
