With minimal size, maximum performance, and feedback protection even without DSP, the MicroWedge series features separate passive high and low pass filters made up of a total of 19 elements. The optimally damped enclosure, completely free of parallel walls, suppresses standing waves and facilitates stacking multiple units side by side. Special space damping under the grille and its shape eliminate reflections and diffractions that could occur. An effective bass reflex in direct connection with the ground hides a recessed bi-amp switch, connectors, and even allows for a microphone stand leg to be inserted or for easy transportation behind the MW. The built-in rigging allows for hanging the MicroWedge and all four sizes (8", 10", 12", 15") can be successfully combined on stage. MicroWedge monitors are compatible with EAW UX8800 and UX3600 processors, which uniquely correct inherent flaws of any real loudspeaker through EAW Focusing technology.

MicroSub joins the innovative MicroWedge stage monitor family, expanding the capabilities of this versatile system. The 15" MicroSub is a highly powerful, ultra-compact stage subwoofer designed for reproducing low frequencies often overlooked in monitoring applications. The construction allows for a wide range of stage applications. MicroSub includes damping elements and side recesses, allowing it to be paired with MW12, MW15 monitors, and of course, with other MicroSub units. When laid flat, the height of the MicroSub cabinet is exactly half its width, with the speaker mounted at a 45° angle. This design allows for various configuration options. MicroSub is ideal as a side-fill subwoofer and, due to its height, is perfect as a base for speakers placed above it. Placing the MicroSub on stage (next to the drum kit) enhances drummer's clarity, precision, and transparency of monitoring. Constructed from Baltic birch with RoadCoat™ surface, MicroSub is resistant to dirt and scratches. A robust steel grille protects the speakers even if stood upon. Tuned to 35Hz, MicroSub's frequency range is 27Hz - 150Hz. Axial SPL sensitivity in the range of 27-150Hz is 92dB (LF - full range) or 98dB (half range). Nominal input impedance is 8 Ohms with a minimum input impedance of 7.6 Ohms at 165Hz. MicroSub is equipped with a Hi-Pass Butterworth filter with a 12dB/octave slope at 28Hz. Theoretical maximum output axial SPL for MicroSub is 122dB RMS/128dB Peak (LF - full range) or 128dB RMS/134dB Peak (half range).
