RANE - RAD11 • Wall-mounted IN/OUT module for HAL and Mongoose systems • 1x mono MIC IN • 1x mono LINE IN • 1x stereo LINE OUT
Common features of RAD modules: RAD installation modules serve as external inputs or outputs for audio signals for HAL or Mongoose systems. The AD and DA converters operate at a 24-bit depth and a sampling rate of 48 kHz. The modules are connected by shielded CAT 5e cables or higher, through which 4 digital audio channels are transmitted (2 in each direction), along with power and a communication channel with status indicators displayed on corresponding RAD, EXP, HAL, or Mongoose units and Halogen or Tracker programs. The superior HAL or Mongoose unit automatically checks the CAT5 connection and verifies audio. The maximum cable length is 500 feet, or 150m. All RAD modules can be hot-swapped if needed. Built-in light sensors dim LED lights in dark rooms. Halogen and Tracker programs allow for label printing on RAD modules.
RANE - RAD11 features one professional microphone input with an XLR connector, one monophonic unbalanced line input for consumer electronics devices equipped with a stereo 3.5mm jack and a pair of RCA/cinch connectors, and one stereo output for consumer electronics devices equipped with a stereo 3.5mm jack and a pair of RCA/cinch connectors. Phantom power of 24V can be software-activated on the microphone input. The rear of the module has a Euroblock connector for fixed microphone cable connection. RAD11 is mounted in a standard American three-module installation box, and a front frame is included in the delivery.
