The controllers are connected to the HAL, EXP, or CP66 unit with a dedicated CAT5e cable or better. This star arrangement eliminates the need for addressing controllers and using external power supplies. The maximum cable length is 300m (1000 feet). Information on the backlit LCD display dynamically updates depending on the active preset, providing the user with real-time information about the controller's actual function.
