It serves as an alternative to the Allen&Heath PL-6 controller with faders, allowing settings to be adjusted or recalled without physically resetting control elements. PL-10 features 8 rotary encoders that can be configured to control individual inputs, outputs, groups, audio signal crosspoint levels, or monitor levels. Minimum/maximum values can be set for each element. Each encoder includes an 8-segment LED indicator displaying the control position. 16 switches, arranged in pairs around each rotary encoder, can be set for level adjustments (up/down), mute, polarity inversion, monitor audio signal selection, or preset selection. 24 LEDs grouped in threes for each encoder can be set for a combination of 3-color signal indicators, mute status, channel activation indication, or display of selected settings (presets). PL-10 is equipped with a PL-Anet port, and connection to the iDR system is made via a CAT-5 cable. Configuration of PL-10 is done using the iDR System Manager software, or through an iLive console or software editor.
