Since 1949, the Italian company RCF has been producing speakers for the most renowned worldwide speaker manufacturers, and for over 30 years, they have been manufacturing their own professional speakers that have become a standard in a wide range of professional applications, from solo performances to huge rock concerts. The RCF brand is also represented in thousands of fixed installations around the world, such as stadiums, train stations, airports, office buildings, amusement parks, etc., where RCF amplifiers, signal processors, and distributors are often used. By leveraging all their experience to make their offering even more comprehensive, RCF has introduced the new range of LivePad mixing consoles. The attractiveness of these essential tools for live sound reinforcement, whether it's a rock band or a jazz quartet concert, a conference, or multimedia center sound reinforcement, is enhanced by the elegant and modern Italian design. The L-PAD series includes 9 models: L-PAD 6, 6X, 8C, 8CX, 10C, 12C, 12CX, 16CX-USB, and 24CX-USB, where the number indicates the number of channels. All models are characterized by uncompromising sound quality, with three "X" models featuring an effects module and "C" models including a compressor on each microphone channel with very responsive threshold and compression ratio adjustment with a single control. All models feature a 3-band EQ on each mono channel and a 2-band EQ on each stereo channel. The 16CX and 24CX models are additionally equipped with a USB port on the rear panel for easy connection to any computer. Any operating system recognizes the L-PAD mixer as an audio device and can be used for audio recording and playback. In line with their sound culture philosophy, RCF has paid exceptional attention to designing all electronic circuits to achieve clean and musically pleasing sound, high-quality and precise dynamic response, combined with exceptional flexibility of use. Models 8C, 8CX, and 10C feature 45mm faders, while models 12C, 12CX, 16CX-USB, and 24CX-USB feature 60mm faders. The advanced internal DSP includes 16 preset effects on the 6CX model and 99 presets on the 8CX, 12CX, 16CX, and 24CX models. When developing the LivePad mixers, great care was also taken to ensure optimal compatibility with RCF's range of active speakers, such as ART, 4Pro, NX, or D-Line. The consoles undergo multiple tests during production to guarantee maximum reliability, including functionality and sound quality tests, output auditory tests, and visual inspections. The LivePad consoles are suitable for various applications and allow for expansion for playing and recording MP3 music files, which can then be stored on a USB device with a capacity of up to 32 GB. A Bluetooth adapter enables wireless connection of additional devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and computers, to the mixer to play music directly without the need for additional wiring.
