Every aspect of system design is focused on acoustic precision, tailored to the exacting requirements of a specific application. The goal of this concept is to ensure that all EAW systems, from the simplest to the most extensive component assemblies, function as a unified whole from a common origin. As with studio monitors, EAW systems are engineered to provide the most neutral and transparent possible sonic experience. Unlike studio monitors, however, EAW systems are designed to achieve these results for events or venues of any size or shape. EAW has been developing and continues to develop integrated products and applied technologies that are redefining the face of the audio industry.

With over a hundred basic models in more than a dozen product lines, both fixed and mobile professionals can optimize the design of each sound system to meet the needs of a given application.

Digital processors for active speaker systems and external processors for passive systems utilize our proprietary EAW Focusing process, which eliminates speaker imperfections in the time domain. EAW also develops software products for controlling its external digital signal processors and processors in its NT Series active loudspeakers, and for designing loudspeaker arrays and modeling their behavior.

2020 marks EAW’s 42nd anniversary. EAW’s operations are centered in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, in a historic factory complex dating back to the birth of the Industrial Revolution in the United States, which was originally home to one of the world’s largest textile machinery manufacturers. All EAW products are engineered by an American development team, and most products are now manufactured here, in the historic factory on the banks of the Mumford River.

From the very beginning, EAW has been delivering breakthrough technologies that bring artists closer to their listeners by solving problems that sound engineers face every day. These technologies follow a direct and logical path from optimizing key acoustic elements to optimizing and integrating more and more aspects of the signal chain.
