The MR 50T is a two-way passive speaker with a bass reflex designed for maximum sound performance and high reliability in fixed installations. Thanks to an internal transformer and power selector on the rear panel, this speaker can be flexibly used in various 70/100V audio distribution systems. It delivers deep bass, smooth mids, and detailed highs to any environment. With quality components and careful acoustic design, the MR 50T is the perfect speaker for demanding applications.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, this speaker is ideal for reproducing speech and music in commercial, cultural, and other spaces. The included wall mount bracket makes it easy to install in bars, restaurants, recreational facilities, amusement parks, shopping centers, or sound monitoring rooms.
Models in the MR series feature purpose-designed 5” or 4” woofers and 1” dome tweeters combined with RCF's own low-inductance crossover (LICC) for reduced delay, minimal phase shift, and excellent transient response. The MR series speaker cabinets are made of self-extinguishing plastic.
The constant voltage speaker system (high-impedance 70V/100V audio distribution system) consists of speakers equipped with step-down transformers that reduce voltage and increase current for the speaker, connected to high-voltage/high-impedance amplifier outputs. This system allows for longer cable runs with lower power loss using higher voltage (70/100V), and the lower current in the cables enables the use of smaller diameter cables. Speakers can be connected in parallel in large numbers, limited only by the amplifier's power output.
