EAW MKD896

The new MKD series of loudspeakers is designed to deliver high performance, wide frequency range, and consistent sound reproduction throughout the frequency spectrum and declared coverage angle. All of this with exceptional sound fidelity that meets the needs of installations ranging from stadiums to small music clubs. The 800 series includes models with sound beam angles of 90x60°, 120x60°, and 60x45°.

The MKD loudspeakers utilize design principles and core technologies already used in the QX series, where two subwoofers are symmetrically positioned around a large-format rotatable sound beam HF driver, simulating a point source across the entire frequency spectrum. Acoustically advanced drivers play up to an octave lower than usual thanks to the proprietary crossover technology tailored to the coverage angle.

The MKD series builds on the long-standing tradition of exceptional EAW loudspeakers developed in collaboration with sound system consultants and architects worldwide. The compact, durable Baltic birch enclosure allows for easy installation with a range of M10 mounting points and optional brackets for wall or ceiling mounting. The subtle curvature of the front of the loudspeaker enables elegant installations in design-sensitive environments.
