EAW MKD1294

The new MKD series of loudspeakers is designed to deliver high performance, wide frequency range, and consistent coverage throughout the frequency spectrum and declared radiation angle. All while maintaining exceptional sound fidelity suitable for installations ranging from stadiums to small music clubs. The 1200 series includes models with sound conduit radiation angles of 60x45°, 90x45°, and 90x60°.

The MKD loudspeakers utilize design principles and core technologies previously used in the QX series, where two subwoofers are symmetrically positioned around a large-format rotatable sound conduit HF driver, simulating a point source across the entire frequency spectrum. There are 2 operating modes available – full range (single-amp) and bi-amp. Acoustically advanced drivers play up to an octave lower than usual due to the proprietary crossover technology tailored to the radiation angle.

The MKD series builds on the long-standing tradition of exceptional EAW loudspeakers developed in collaboration with sound system consultants and architects worldwide. The compact, durable Baltic birch enclosure allows for easy installation with a range of M10 mounting points and optional brackets for wall or ceiling mounting. The subtle curvature of the loudspeaker's front panel enables elegant installations in design-sensitive environments.
