Allen&Heath – SQ Link

Allen&Heath has introduced an expansion card for the SQ digital mixing system. The SQ Link card offers the same functionality as the S-Link port but operates independently, providing an additional 128 inputs and outputs for further expanding the SQ ecosystem (ME personal monitoring, DX, and dSnake expanders).

The SLink card significantly enhances system integration capabilities, allowing direct connection of the SQ mixing system with the Qu or dLive platform, or optional 48/96 kHz expanders.

"After witnessing the enthusiasm from sound engineers and technicians regarding the SLink port, it became clear to us that the next step was to create a standalone expansion module. With its very attractive price and features, the card has become a highly popular product," explained Keith Johnson, the SQ series product manager.

"In the context of the upcoming firmware V.1.3, we are talking about an additional 256 physical inputs and outputs for creating monitor mixes, broadcast feeds, and other applications."
