Introducing the DEQ 60L Graphic Equalizer When the term graphic equalizer first emerged, the goal was to provide users with the ability to "grab" a specific frequency and adjust its volume using sliders on the front panel. The ultimate aim was for a device to accurately replicate what the user set on the front panel. For many years, this seemingly simple task was technically unattainable, leading to compromises in products available on the market. That was until now. That was until we introduced the DEQ 60L. This equalizer doesn't have constant or proportional filters; it has perfect-Q! Digital Signal Processing (DSP) has finally enabled what was previously impossible with traditional analog designs. Rane coined the term Perfect-Q to describe the results. The DEQ 60L is a world-first and truly unique graphic equalizer, precisely mirroring the settings on the front panel in real-time. Perfect-Q offers almost zero interaction between bands and exceptionally low ripple between adjacent bands. To make things even more interesting and versatile, we added the option to switch between Perfect-Q and Proportional-Q.
