Digital signal processing (DSP) has finally enabled what was not possible with traditional analog designs. Rane coined the term Perfect-Q to describe the results. The DEQ 60 is a globally unique and the first real graphic equalizer, a device that accurately replicates the settings on the front panel in real-time. Perfect-Q offers you the assurance of almost zero interaction between individual bands and exceptionally low ripple between adjacent bands. To make it even more interesting and versatile, we added the option to switch between Perfect-Q and Proportional-Q.
