The DE990TN model is a unique compact neodymium compression driver with high efficiency and a 75 mm (3.4'') voice coil. Its unusually small overall diameter of 118 mm is achieved through an internally machined magnet.
The driver's diaphragm has been completely redesigned for a new type of former with a curved edge. Additionally, it features a new surround and an optimized phase plug.
These modifications minimize deviation and diaphragm distortion, resulting in lower distortion and a cleaner frequency range above 10 kHz.
