RCF - M 18

The digital mixing consoles of the M series offer a versatile solution for musicians seeking a comprehensive tool for both studio and live applications in a single device. With a built-in power source, the M 18 ensures maximum flexibility and easy transport. The integrated WiFi antenna and access point drastically reduce the amount of gear needed. Control of all functions is done through the user-friendly iOS app MixRemote on your iPad.

On the front panel of the M 18, you will find 6 XLR inputs and 2 combo XLR inputs, all equipped with microphone preamps for balanced and dynamic sound.

The design of the line inputs is based on the same high-quality preamps used for the microphone inputs. Inputs 9 to 18 with 6.3mm Jack connection represent the line inputs of the M18 mixer, where inputs 9 and 10 can be switched to HI-Z mode with high impedance. This allows for connecting passive musical instruments (e.g., electric guitars and bass guitars) without the need for an additional adapter.

The remotely adjustable preamp gain allows users to control the input signal level, with the ability to save the overall settings in memory.

On the rear panel, there are six balanced TRS +22 dB Aux outputs for connecting stage monitors, additional monitors, and external effects units.

The main +22 dB output features a pair of balanced XLR connectors.


The headphone connector is the last point on the list of inputs and outputs of the digital mixer M 18. Using the Personal Mix function under the Phones column in the MixRemote app menu, you can create individual settings for personal monitoring. The headphone output can be assigned the MAIN MIX bus signal and also the PFL for monitoring.

On the front panel, MIDI IN and OUT ports are available for connecting various MIDI controllers. The footswitch port allows connection to a single or double footswitch for triggering effect presets, mute, and controlling other functions.

Another outstanding feature is the presence of a USB-A port, providing the option to use flash drives and external HDDs for creating complete recordings in compressed or uncompressed formats. The M18 serves as a complete recording and playback device, with a clear graphical interface that helps organize playlist content easily, including the AUTO play function.
