Compact digital mixing system, 32x fader, expandable inputs/outputs, XCVI FPGA core.
The range of compact digital mixing consoles from Allen&Heath has been enhanced with the SQ7 model.
With its 32 motorized faders, 32 microphone preamps, and 8 freely assignable Soft rotaries encoders, the SQ7 flagship of the SQ series. Allen&Heath responds dynamically to demanding requirements for live sound, corporate events, fixed installations, and other productions.
At its core lies the revolutionary XCVI 96kHz FPGA engine, known from the highly successful and acclaimed dLive series. It delivers a coherent mix, rich processing power for all inputs and outputs, top-notch sound resolution, and system latency below 0.7 ms.
The SQ7 features 12 output buses (configurable as aux buses and groups) and, together with AMM (Automatic mic mixing), is an ideal choice for monitoring in conferences, panel discussions, and more.

96kHz XCVI Engine
The new SQ5, SQ6, and SQ7 mixing consoles are future-ready with the revolutionary XCVI 96kHz FPGA technology, known from the highly successful and acclaimed dLive series. It delivers a coherent mix, rich processing power for all inputs and outputs, top-notch sound resolution, and system latency below 0.7 ms.
DEEP processing ready
SQ consoles feature a basic set of DEEP processing algorithms known from the dLive series, including acclaimed compressors and tube preamps that can be used directly within input channels.
Top-notch IEM system
Excellent ergonomics, a compact 12-bus format, incredibly low latency, parametric and graphic EQ on each bus optimize working with monitor mixes and in-ear systems.
Up to 48 microphones
The SQ-6 mixing console is equipped with all necessary inputs and outputs for immediate use. Thanks to the "smart" SLink port, existing racks, expanders, and stage boxes are supported (AB168, AR2412, AR84 - only at 48kHz, or DX168 for full utilization of 96kHz technology), making physical input and output expansion very easy. SQ can even be connected to another SQ or dLive system.
Dante, Waves, and more
SQ serves as the central element of a growing array of various applications, network card expanders, personal mixing consoles, and other devices that allow interconnection, customization, and expansion of the system's "heart." It is compatible with Dante and Waves network cards, enabling complex connections for fixed installations or digital splitting of FOH and monitor consoles.
Multitrack
The full integration of the SQ-Drive protocol brings a long-awaited tool for easy recording of multitrack recordings at a 96 kHz sampling frequency directly to a USB key or HDD. No software configuration or complex installation of precise drivers is required to achieve the best results. SQ-Drive also serves as a convenient way to play back your customers' brought-in audio files. Additionally, there is a built-in 32x32 USB audio interface with a maximum sampling frequency for multitrack recording directly to a computer. It is fully compatible with Core Audio and ASIO, providing complete MIDI and DAW control capabilities.
Advanced AMM
The new advanced AMM can handle up to 64 microphones, which can be divided into 4 independent AMM setups, for example, for simultaneous operation of multiple conference rooms or panel discussions. Furthermore, there is a choice between two AMM topologies: gain sharing and NOM (Number of Open Microphones).
Designed for Professionals We fully understand that the working environment of sound engineers and professionals is not a walk in the park. That's why the SQ construction is prepared for unexpected situations, with its metal build, durable finish, and reinforced aluminum illumination strip able to withstand the most demanding conditions.
Workflow The development team at Allen&Heath is getting closer to the ultimate mixing system with each product. The SQ user interface is centered around a high-resolution 7” capacitive touchscreen and, together with the controls, creates an intuitive and clear environment with visual feedback. Inputs and buses can be easily placed on any channel strips using a drag-and-drop principle, and the LCD displays above each fader can be instantly renamed and color-coded, creating a fully personalized workspace for your workflow. Each channel features a patented chromatic output level meter.
RackExtra FX Over the years, Allen & Heath has gained a respected position in the market for developing effect emulations. In the SQ mixing console, you will find 8 effect units containing RackExtra effect algorithm libraries, including emulations of legendary effects such as classic reverb, gated reverb, delay, various modulations, and more. All effects come with their own returns, saving valuable input channels.
Personal Mixing System ME SQ is fully compatible with the ME personal mixing system, allowing performers to customize their monitor mixes. The ME-1 and ME-500 personal mixing consoles can be connected via the SLink port or the appropriate expander.
