ME-U

The Allen & Heath ME-U is a 10-port touring distributor that allows for the distribution of audio signals and power to multiple personal mixers ME-1 and ME-500 over an Ethernet cable. It comes with an input card compatible with Allen & Heath dLive, Avantis, SQ, and Qu mixers.

The ME-U distributor can be connected to any available ME, SLink, dSnake, or Monitor port of an Allen & Heath digital mixing system. ME-1 and ME-500 mixers directly connected to the ME-U are powered via PoE. Additional ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be connected and powered via an external PSU. If more than 10 ports are required, multiple ME-U distributors can be linked together.

Optional Dante or MADI cards allow users of other professional digital mixers to power up to 40 ME-1 mixers or up to 16 ME-500 mixers. ME-1 and ME-500 can be used as replacements for older AVIOM A-II units. The optional DMI-ME card enables selected DiGiCo mixers to send up to 40 channels to the ME system.
