Allen&Heath DX168

The DX168 is a robust portable expansion module for increasing the number of inputs and outputs within the dLive system (compatible with MixRacks and S Class and C Class consoles), Avantis, SQ, and AHM-64.

Each DX168 expander features 16 microphone preamps with individual LED phantom power indicators and 8 XLR line outputs. Up to 6 DX168 expanders can be connected to a single dLive system – 4 via MixRack and 2 via a control surface, providing a total of 96 remote inputs and 48 outputs.

Connection to the console, MixRack, and additional DX expanders is achieved using a single Cat5e cable, with redundant linking to compatible hardware and daisy-chaining to another DX168 expander through an additional Ethernet port. The DX168 expander serves as an ideal extension for your dLive digital mixing system.

Reinforced rubber sides and a sturdy construction make it suitable for on-stage use during demanding performances. With a low weight of only 4.8 kg and an ergonomic handle, the DX168 enhances mobility for rental houses, lecture halls, schools, and other venues. Optional rack mounting accessories are available (resulting in a 4U size).
