The SRM 550 features a 12" mid-bass driver and a 1" titanium diaphragm driver with a 1" coil and horn. Thanks to intelligent crossover, the signal in both drivers is tuned for optimal sound projection with maximum dispersion. Acoustic optimization is aided by built-in DSP with four sound modes – PA, DJ, Monitor, and Solo. On the rear panel of the SRM, you will find two combo XLR, jack inputs along with a parallel XLR output and RCA input. This allows for working with two channels and potentially daisy-chaining the SRM with another speaker. Each channel has its gain control, above which are switches for the built-in feedback eliminator and limiter. The speaker is constructed from highly durable 15 mm thick poplar plywood and its shape is designed to be suitable for any application. Due to its wide frequency range, it can also be used as a monitoring speaker.
