Allen&Heath - GR4

Allen & Heath introduces two new installation mixers, GR3 and GR4, designed for simple yet comprehensive control of music and announcements distribution in multiple sound zones in bars, restaurants, shops, or sports facilities. The GR3 and GR4 mixers offer extensive configuration options and are ideal for applications with multiple signal sources that require specific priority settings.
Both mixers occupy 1RU rack space, feature a front panel microphone input for quick setup of emergency announcements, and can be controlled using optional remote controllers.
An innovative feature of selective control access allows the device administrator to set which controls will be accessible for daily use.
The GR3 has two microphone inputs and two stereo inputs, while the GR4 has four microphone inputs, four stereo inputs, and an additional 3.5mm Jack connector on the front panel for connecting portable sources like an iPod. Both units have 2 stereo outputs, with the GR4 also having 2 additional mono outputs.

Individual mixes from all inputs can be set for zones 1 and 2. There are multiple configuration options for setting up mixes for zones 3 and 4 thanks to the stereo/mono switch. Gain and 2-band EQ can be controlled on all microphone inputs. A 2-band EQ can be controlled on outputs 1 and 2. Various operating modes are available: primary and secondary with a music suppression function during announcements (allowing adjustment of attenuation level, Hold and Release times), emergency mode, and Juke Box mode.

Up to two PL-14 remote controllers can be connected, as well as additional analog remote controllers, and the device can be integrated into systems with alarms, fire signaling, etc.
